MAMLMAML stands for Molly Active Markup Language. MAML is a set of XML tags which Molly uses to allow you to create sophisticated dynamic web sites without any programming. (Advanced developers can use PHP in MAML pages if they wish.) Because MAML tags are mixed into XHTML pages, all MAML tags use the maml XML namespace, where all MAML tags have the "maml:" prefix like this: <maml:tagname id = "" style = "" /> The menu to the left groups the MAML tags by function. (Some tags appear in more than one function area because they can logically be organized multiple ways.) Each tag has a page documenting its syntax and functionality. At the right of those pages is a list of related tags. (On this page at the right is an alphabetical list of all the tags.) Molly also now includes a second set of tags, the MAGE (pronounced "Maggie") tags which are used for creating SVG pages instead of XHTML pages. Although this set of tags is still very incomplete, their documentation is included. |
